What are tactical pens

Tactical pens have been out on the market for over a decade now and are quickly becoming a popular addition to the everyday persons arsenal of self defence items. They are overtaking other similar products such as Swiss army knives due to it being a cheap tactical pen. Most of these products can cost literally under $15 and could have the potential to save your life one day.

What are tactical pens?

Tactical pens, also known as combat pens, are products that are designed to protect users. It doubles as a writing pen with fully functional ink capacity inside, however, the main principle of the pen is to be used to protect oneself in a situation which requires it. 

The pen has a material which is sturdy. It is usually made using a firm metallic base, or sometimes even diamond depending on the price of the tactical pen at hand. It can be used to escape in situations such as a car collision when the door is jammed. You simply smash the glass and evacuate from the car in an emergency.

As well as emergencies such as car crashes, you could also use it in hand to hand combat to ward off attackers. The pen has a sharp nib which can be used to scare off the attacker, and protect you in case of needing to use it.
